Talus Holdings is proud to celebrate the official formation of Elavo, a new parent holding company supporting commercial linen rental and laundry service businesses.
The announcement represents an important milestone for Elavo and its operators, Luis Aguilar and Benji Mandowsky. Through their leadership, Elavo has brought together three trusted South Florida businesses—Cy’s Linen, Florida Keys Linen and Ser-Clean—under a platform created to support their people, strengthen their capabilities and build upon their established reputations.
Although the Elavo name is new, the roots of the platform reach back more than 80 years.
Building the future without losing sight of the past
Cy’s Linen has served South Florida businesses since 1945, building a reputation for quality, dependable service and strong customer relationships from Palm Beach to Key West. Florida Keys Linen contributes deep roots in Key West and an enduring understanding of the region’s hospitality industry, while Ser-Clean brings a strong Miami-area record of customized laundry service and modern, environmentally conscious processing.
Together, their people, experience and customer relationships form the foundation of Elavo.
The platform provides commercial linen rental and outsourced laundry services to hotels, resorts, restaurants, spas and other hospitality businesses. Its teams help customers maintain consistently high standards through responsive local service, reliable pickup and delivery, careful linen processing and proactive inventory management.
The formation of Elavo allows its family of companies to build upon those capabilities while preserving the local knowledge, trusted relationships and service cultures that made each business successful.
Recognizing the leadership of Luis Aguilar and Benji Mandowsky
Creating a platform requires more than completing transactions or introducing a new brand. It requires a clear vision for how established businesses can work together, a respect for the people and legacies behind them and the operational discipline to create something stronger for the future.
Luis Aguilar and Benji Mandowsky have brought those qualities to Elavo.
They have worked closely with the leaders and employees of Elavo’s operating companies to establish a shared direction while remaining grounded in what customers value: quality linens, dependable service, responsive communication and people who understand their businesses.
Their achievement reflects the entrepreneurial leadership Talus seeks to support. Luis and Benji have taken ownership of Elavo’s direction, built relationships across its family of companies and positioned the platform for its next stage of development.
We congratulate them, along with every member of the Elavo team, on reaching this important milestone.
The Talus entrepreneurial model in action
Talus was built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. We partner with capable operators to form platforms in fragmented business service markets and provide the capital, ownership alignment and functional resources needed to help them grow with confidence.
Our role is not to replace the entrepreneur’s vision. It is to give that vision the support required to become a durable business.
The Elavo story demonstrates how this model works. Luis and Benji provide the entrepreneurial leadership, industry focus and day-to-day commitment necessary to build the platform. Talus works alongside them as an engaged partner, providing practical support across the functions that become increasingly important as a business grows.
That support includes:
This embedded approach makes the Talus team an extension of platform management. It also allows support to be tailored to the needs, culture and stage of each business rather than imposed through a one-size-fits-all playbook.

A platform designed to build upon what already works
Talus believes growth should strengthen the qualities that made a business successful—not erase them.
That principle is especially important in service industries. Companies such as Cy’s Linen, Florida Keys Linen and Ser-Clean have earned customer loyalty through years of consistent execution and personal relationships. Their value extends beyond facilities, equipment and delivery routes. It lives in their people, knowledge, reputation and understanding of the communities they serve.
Elavo was created to preserve those strengths while giving its businesses access to additional resources, investment and opportunities.
For customers, that means continuing to receive attentive local service from experienced teams. For employees, it means becoming part of a larger organization committed to investing in people and capabilities. For business owners considering a future transition, it demonstrates that joining a platform can provide a path to growth while respecting what they have built.
A milestone worth celebrating
The official launch of Elavo is both a celebration of what has already been accomplished and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
We are proud of Luis Aguilar and Benji Mandowsky for the leadership they have demonstrated throughout Elavo’s formation. We are equally grateful to the employees across Cy’s Linen, Florida Keys Linen and Ser-Clean whose experience, commitment and daily work make the platform possible.
Together, they are building upon a service legacy that began in 1945 and creating a stronger commercial linen and laundry organization for the future.
Congratulations to Luis, Benji and the entire Elavo team.
