Talus Holdings launches Heritage Facility Services

Talus Holdings is proud to announce the creation of Heritage Facility Services, a commercial janitorial and facility services platform led by experienced entrepreneur Willem “Will” Straatman.

Founded in 2025 and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, Heritage brings together trusted commercial cleaning companies under a unified platform built around exceptional service, strong local relationships and respect for employees. The company is establishing a growing presence across the Mid-Atlantic while creating new opportunities for janitorial business owners, employees and customers.

Heritage Facility Services was created to combine the responsiveness and personal relationships of a locally operated cleaning company with the technology, resources and professional support of a larger organization.

“At Heritage, we’re building a new standard for the industry: locally owned and operated, but supported by the structure, technology, and professionalism typically found in much larger organizations,” Straatman said.

Heritage provides commercial janitorial cleaning, carpet and floor care, day porter services and post-construction cleaning. Its teams support a diverse range of properties, including:

Although Heritage is still a young company, it has already achieved meaningful growth. Its growing team serves hundreds of commercial customers with an emphasis on consistent results, responsive communication and dependable service.

Straatman brings significant experience building and leading service organizations. Before launching Heritage Facility Services, he was a co-owner of Global Guardian, a security services company operating in the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia region.

During his time with Global Guardian, Straatman helped grow the company to more than 500 employees across multiple states. The business was successfully sold in 2023 and continues to create jobs and serve customers today.

That experience gives Straatman a valuable understanding of what it takes to build a scalable service company without losing sight of the people responsible for its success. His leadership philosophy is grounded in transparency, empathy, thoughtful analysis, momentum and the fortitude to work through challenges alongside his team.

As a Maryland resident, Straatman is also personally invested in the communities Heritage serves. His goal is to build a respected regional organization that creates lasting opportunities for employees while delivering consistently excellent results for customers.
