Talus Holdings is proud to celebrate the grand opening of Wenzel Industries’ renewed manufacturing facility in Jefferson, Wisconsin—a milestone that brings together more than 40 years of local manufacturing history and an exciting vision for the future.
Wenzel Industries officially marked the occasion on July 14, 2026, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held in partnership with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. Wenzel employees joined local officials, Chamber representatives and members of the Jefferson business community to recognize the company’s continued investment in its people, its facility and its hometown.
The celebration came nine months after Wenzel Downhole Tools and Basin Precision Machining joined forces to form Wenzel Industries in October 2025. While the new company began operating under the Wenzel Industries name at that time, the Jefferson team wanted the facility to reflect the significance of the next chapter before welcoming the community for an official grand opening.

More than a new name
The Wenzel Industries name may be relatively new in Jefferson, but the business is deeply rooted in the community. The machine shop first opened in 1980 as Anderson Machining and became Basin Precision Machining in 2015. Its merger with Edmonton-based Wenzel Downhole Tools a decade later brought two established manufacturers together as one North American industrial platform.
That history made the Jefferson grand opening more than the introduction of a new brand. It was a celebration of continuity, progress and the people whose skill and commitment have built the business over generations.
The months between the merger and the grand opening also gave Wenzel Industries time to complete meaningful improvements to the Jefferson facility. New employee restrooms, updated exterior signage and a redesigned front entrance created a more welcoming, functional workplace that better represents the company Wenzel Industries has become.
Those renovations reflect an important part of long-term business building: investing not only in equipment and capacity, but also in the everyday experience of the people who make the company successful.
Building a stronger North American manufacturing platform
Wenzel Industries combines the precision CNC machining expertise of its Jefferson operation with the engineering knowledge, advanced manufacturing capabilities and specialized product portfolio of its Edmonton facility. Together, the two locations serve OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and other customers across industries including automotive, aerospace, firearms, oil and gas, and industrial manufacturing.
The merger created a broader platform with expanded capacity, complementary expertise and manufacturing operations in both the United States and Canada. For customers, that means access to a stronger manufacturing partner with the resources to support complex programs, demanding quality requirements and evolving supply-chain needs.
The improvements in Jefferson help give that strategy a visible home. Updated signage introduces the Wenzel Industries brand to the community, while the renovated entrance represents a facility prepared to welcome customers, partners, employees and future team members.
Strengthening connections in Jefferson
The grand opening and ribbon cutting also celebrated Wenzel Industries joining the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. That membership creates new opportunities for the company to collaborate with neighboring businesses, participate in local initiatives and contribute to the continued strength of the Jefferson community.
