Riverview Landscapes partners with Kevin Labadini Corporation in Massachusetts
Talus Holdings is proud to celebrate another meaningful milestone for Riverview Landscapes: its partnership with Kevin Labadini Corporation, a commercial landscaping and snow management provider headquartered in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
The acquisition strengthens Riverview’s Boston Metro West branch, increases its service density in Massachusetts and adds a respected family business with more than 70 years of history. It also marks Riverview’s 26th acquisition since the company was founded in 2022.
Welcoming a three-generation landscaping business
Kevin Labadini Corporation traces its roots to 1953, when Kevin Labadini’s grandfather, Phillip Labadini, started the business. Kevin’s father, Robert, later operated the company with his brothers Ronald and Richard before selling it to Kevin in 1995.
Over the following 30 years, Kevin continued building the company and preparing it for long-term success. More recently, he worked with key team members Lori Labadini Iagallo and Patrick Pereirra to strategically shift the business from a landscape construction focus toward recurring landscape maintenance.
That evolution created a business well aligned with Riverview’s commercial landscaping and snow management platform. A recurring service model supports lasting customer relationships, dependable workloads and consistent property care throughout the seasons. Combined with Labadini Corporation’s established reputation and experienced team, it provides a strong foundation for future growth.
The relationship between Kevin and Riverview developed over more than two years. That extended period gave both sides time to understand one another’s values, operating approach and goals before moving forward with the partnership.
Strengthening the Boston Metro West branch
Labadini Corporation will become part of Riverview’s Boston Metro West branch within its New England region. The company’s Shrewsbury facility will remain in operation and continue serving customers with support from Riverview’s nearby branch operations in Hudson, Massachusetts.
Located approximately 20 minutes apart, the Shrewsbury and Hudson facilities create opportunities for the combined team to share resources, improve route density and support customers efficiently across the market. At the same time, maintaining the Shrewsbury location preserves the local presence and responsiveness Labadini Corporation customers already value.
The acquisition is a natural tuck-in for Boston Metro West, adding an established customer base and experienced employees to a branch designed for continued regional growth. It also demonstrates how Riverview can strengthen an existing market by partnering with a successful local operator whose services and customer relationships complement its own.
Strengthening Riverview’s Southern New Jersey Region
Meticulous joins Elite Landscaping, McHugh’s Landscaping, Nature Scape and Young’s Landscape Management within Riverview’s Southern New Jersey Region. Each company contributes its own history, relationships and strengths to the regional platform. Meticulous adds valuable experience serving homeowners associations and reinforces Riverview’s ability to support community properties with reliable, professional landscape care.
The acquisition also demonstrates the value of combining regional scale with local accountability. Riverview can invest in broader resources and operational support, while branch leaders remain close to the customers and communities they serve. That balance helps strong local businesses preserve the qualities that earned customer trust while preparing for continued growth.
Preserving leadership and customer continuity
Operations Manager Patrick Pereirra and Account Manager Lori Labadini Iagallo will remain with Riverview. Their continued involvement will provide valuable continuity for customers and employees while supporting the Boston Metro West branch’s growth.
Patrick and Lori played important roles in Labadini Corporation’s transition toward recurring landscape maintenance and bring valuable knowledge of the company’s operations and relationships. Retaining that experience helps ensure customers continue receiving the dependable service they expect throughout the transition.
This approach reflects Riverview’s partnership-oriented growth strategy. Strong landscaping businesses are built by people who understand their customers, employees and local markets. Preserving those relationships while adding the resources of a larger regional organization creates new opportunities without losing the qualities that made the business successful.
For Kevin, choosing the right partner after three decades of ownership was a decision that required trust. Riverview’s industry knowledge, commitment to customers and focus on supporting employees gave him confidence that Labadini Corporation would continue to thrive as part of the platform.
Continuing Riverview’s growth across the Northeast
Riverview Landscapes provides landscaping and snow management services to thousands of customers across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. With more than 800 employees, the company supports commercial properties, community associations, institutions, municipalities and homeowners throughout the Northeast.
The addition of Labadini Corporation builds on Riverview’s expanding New England operations while complementing its established presence throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
For Talus Holdings, this acquisition represents exactly the kind of progress we are proud to support. Riverview has partnered with a strong operator, a loyal customer base and an experienced team that has already demonstrated a clear vision for the future. Labadini Corporation, in turn, gains additional resources and a regional platform from which its employees can continue building on the company’s success.
Riverview’s milestone of 26 acquisitions is impressive, but each partnership is ultimately measured by the strength of the people and relationships it brings together. Labadini Corporation adds a remarkable family legacy, valuable recurring services and a team positioned to contribute meaningfully to Riverview’s continued growth.
Celebrating the next chapter for Labadini Corporation
We congratulate Michael Waterman, Liam Burrell, Kevin Labadini, Lori Labadini Iagallo, Patrick Pereirra and the entire Riverview and Labadini Corporation teams on this exciting new chapter.
Labadini Corporation has built an admirable legacy across three generations. We look forward to seeing that legacy continue within Riverview Landscapes as the team expands its opportunities, supports its customers and strengthens the Boston Metro West branch for years to come.
