Riverview Landscapes strengthens its New York region with acquisition of Cleveland Brothers Landscaping
Talus Holdings is proud to celebrate another exciting milestone for Riverview Landscapes: the acquisition of Cleveland Brothers Landscaping, Inc., a well-established landscaping company headquartered in Corinth, New York.
The partnership brings together two experienced teams serving the greater Albany and Saratoga Springs markets. It also represents Riverview’s 21st acquisition since 2022, continuing the company’s thoughtful expansion across the Northeast while strengthening the New York market where its growth story began.
Welcoming more than three decades of landscaping experience
Founded by Terry and Kevin Cleveland in 1988, Cleveland Brothers has spent more than 30 years building a reputation for quality, professionalism and dependable customer service. The company provides comprehensive landscape maintenance, hardscaping, fertilization and snow removal services throughout the greater Albany region.
The success of Cleveland Brothers reflects a long-term commitment to its customers and employees. Terry and Kevin built the business around four principles: quality, professionalism, customer service and taking care of people. Those priorities align closely with Riverview’s values and make the companies natural partners for the future.
For the Cleveland brothers, finding the right organization to continue what they built was an important part of the transition. By joining Riverview, the Cleveland Brothers team gains access to the resources and opportunities of a growing regional landscaping platform while preserving the service standards and local expertise that have earned customers’ trust.
Combining two strong Albany-area teams
As Terry and Kevin transition ownership of the business to Riverview, the Cleveland Brothers team will join Riverview’s Albany Branch. Curtis Tironi will continue as Albany Branch Manager and oversee the larger combined operation.
Longtime Cleveland Brothers employees Roger Finch and Kyle Hogan will also continue serving as Operations Managers. Their experience and customer relationships will provide valuable continuity for employees and clients as the teams come together.
This leadership structure reflects Riverview’s partnership-oriented approach to growth. Successful local landscaping businesses are built by people who understand their markets, customers and teams. Retaining that knowledge while adding broader operational support helps create a stronger organization without losing the qualities that made each business successful.
The combined team will be positioned to share expertise, expand service capacity and pursue new opportunities throughout the greater Albany and Saratoga Springs areas.
Investing in a larger Corinth facility
As part of the transition, Riverview will relocate its existing Albany branch office from Selkirk, New York, to Cleveland Brothers’ significantly larger facility in Corinth. The move provides the combined operation with more space to support its employees, equipment and continued growth.
The Corinth location also builds on Cleveland Brothers’ established presence in the market. Operating from this larger facility will help Riverview coordinate its expanded Albany team and serve customers efficiently across the region.
This is especially meaningful because Albany was the first market Riverview entered. Partnering with Cleveland Brothers—an organization Riverview has known and respected as a longtime competitor—reinforces the company’s commitment to the region and creates a stronger foundation for its next chapter there.
Continuing Riverview’s growth across the Northeast
Riverview Landscapes provides landscaping and snow management services to thousands of customers across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. With nearly 700 employees, the company supports commercial properties, community associations, institutions, municipalities and homeowners throughout the region.
In addition to its New York operations, Riverview has established Southern New Jersey, Northern New Jersey and New England regions. Each acquisition adds talented employees, trusted customer relationships and specialized local knowledge to this growing network.
For Talus Holdings, the Cleveland Brothers acquisition represents the kind of partnership-driven progress we are proud to support. Riverview is investing in a strong team and a business with a proven record of success, while giving that team additional resources to continue growing and serving its customers.
The milestone of 21 acquisitions is impressive, but the people behind those partnerships remain the true measure of Riverview’s progress. By aligning with respected local operators and preserving experienced leadership, the company is building a landscaping platform that combines regional scale with local accountability.
Celebrating the next chapter for Cleveland Brothers
We congratulate Michael Waterman, Terry and Kevin Cleveland, Curtis Tironi, Roger Finch, Kyle Hogan and the entire Riverview and Cleveland Brothers teams on this exciting partnership.
Cleveland Brothers has built an admirable legacy through decades of hard work and a genuine commitment to customers and employees. We look forward to seeing that legacy continue within Riverview Landscapes as the combined Albany team creates new opportunities, expands its capabilities and delivers exceptional service throughout the region.
